"At the time of death, the soul leaves the body and incarnates into another body. The soul is kept prisoner in an eternal reincarnation cycle it cannot escape. More or less the same events occur in the various lives because of the influence of the patterns. There's no point at all in eternal reincarnation. It is something that happens beyond our control. The soul exists eternally, both in the past and in the future. It was not created by a god. There is no power that is higher than man and other creatures in the universe. Several souls incarnate in the same body at the same time." "The soul (of humans and animals) or the consciousness is surrounded by the subconscious mind, which surrounds a person in the form of matter, energies and subsouls. I call this matter 'the programme' or the negative subconscious mind (= the patterns). The energies and subsouls are the positive subconscious mind. This subconscious mind extends very far around people and reaches far beyond our planet." "The programme around man consists of millions of different patterns that have their origin in times long gone. They were built throughout time, which implies that every pattern consists of an enormous amount of layers. The basis of the very deepest patterns is eternal times long past. The patterns manifest themselves throughout the various lives and they keep causing the same problems over and over again. They suppress the free will. The choices we make, the way we think and act is mainly the result of these patterns and not of our own free will."
"According to the insights of LTA, the soul already existed before the start of the universe. Even then it was a prisoner of the programme. If we express ourselves in terms of '10 to the power of 15' years ago, we are still referring to the upper layers of the subconscious mind in contrast to the infinitely much deeper layers. The further we go back in time, the deeper the layers we reach. Energies are released when patterns are destroyed. If sufficient energies are released, they are able to peel off the patterns by themselves. We can cause an automatic breaking of patterns."
