There are many in this world who call themselves practitioners of the left hand path-many different levels and types of practitioner.

The left hand path is about empowering the self. What are the powers of the self? Bravery, patience and determination to name but a few are the powers of the self. These are the internal treasures which the true practitioner cultivates within himself. Knowledge is power. How many qualities are there? How do they interrelate? How can they best be cultivated? These are some of the questions whos answers can be found in "Inner Medicine". As an LHPP you have certain advantages over other people. You should be more at one with your physical body, have a certain disregard for convention and you may be better placed to embrace the darkness within you. All of which are prerequisites for a succesful understanding and application of "Inner Medicine". The term "embracing the darkness" however should not be misunderstood. It is wise to read "Inner Medicine" sequentially and to understand its principles fully before jumping in to the deep end.
