Mathematical Music

The patterns of mathematics are eternal and transcendental. They are the all pervading foundation of all the sciences, all that is. It therefore follows that music based on mathematical patterns may have special a significance and may have interesting effects on our organism and consciousness.

Music is essentially a pattern of vibrations and those patterns always follow mathematical laws as do all things/events. However we can deliberately compose music that is in harmony with particular idealized mathematical patterns such as the digits of Pi or the yin/yang variations found in the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching.
