Yantra:(sanskrit ) "Restrainer," "limiter." A mystic diagram composed of geometric and alphabetic figures - usually etched on small plates of gold, silver or copper. Sometimes rendered in three dimensions in stone or metal. The purpose of a yantra is to focus spiritual and mental energies, to atune to particular vibrational states.
Yoga: Is an Indian word meaning union-specificially union with God. There are a number of different types of yoga.
Yule: The Winter Solstice, the longest night, approximately Dec.21st-25th. One of the Eight Festivals, also called Jul, and Christmas. Yule marks the middle of Winter, after which the days start getting longer. The Festival of the birth of the Pagan Sun God.
